So I’ve finally had some reasonably successful shooting. After a very disappointing trip to Malham yesterday with the prospect of some nice astro photography conditions I think I managed to find the only cloud in the whole of the country. I had anticipated camping out but returned immediately after driving into cloud. That along with the prospect of not being able to make a return journey home the morning after until the road thawed out meant I came straight home. I will shoot some stars one day! I decided to try again today to get some winter shots and headed towards trusty Ladybower Reservoir. I was very thankful for the break in the clouds making a nice sunset. I’ll just have to return to Malham Cove and the interesting rock formations along with Scalaber Force another day with my unfinished business.
